The Pacific Island Head

He was a Pacific island.

His face was like Mt Vea’a with ulaa’s crawling down his face with baa’s snapping things.

His forehead was like Apia having tsunami’s and cyclones with cars crashing into each other.

His eyes were like seals, slippery slimey and sticky with muscles stuck on them.

His tears were like the raindrops and puddles that the people play in.

He was a Pacific island.

Pipi's Got Mail!

Pipi has been participating in School Kit's #getnzwriting campaign.  We have been working hard to get our poems written and our sheet filled in.  We will have it in the courier on Friday.

Imagine our surprise when we received our package today from our buddy class, Room 21 from Hoon Hay school in Christchurch.  We filmed ourselves opening it.....you can tell we were so excited.  We loved reading all the metaphors, noticed that the leaf was very different to any of our leaves and were super excited to open the treasure map.

Thank you so much Blake's Boat Shed!! We hope you enjoy our package as much as we enjoyed yours today.

Pipi's Assembly Videos

Pipi hosted assembly this week.  We shared the learning that we have been doing as part of #getnzwriting.  We got into 5 groups, wrote our own scripts, then with the help of Miss Wills we had videos to share at assembly - and with the world through our blog.  We hope you enjoy them!!
