I Love My Nana

I love my nana because she takes us out almost every day.

I love my nana because she buys us takeaways sometimes.

I love my nana because she takes care of us.

I love my nana because she cooks us dinner every day.

I love my nana because sometimes we go  rec centre.

I love my nana so much because that’s my mums mum and that why.

I love my nana because she takes us school early.

I love my nana because she some time helps us with our home work.

I love my nana because she bought me new shoes.

I love my nana so much  because she loves us.

]

Desiree for her willingness to volunteer herself to help her peers;
and Miss Wills for making Buddy Reading fun and wanting our students to achieve and be successful.

Touch Training Today

Today we started our touch training with Coach Malakai from Counties Manukau Sport.  We ran through a number of drills to help us with skills that we will need to play touch.
We practised rolling the ball, passing the ball and catching the ball.  We needed to remember we have to pass backwards because forward passes aren't allowed in touch rugby (or any rugby for that matter).
We really enjoyed our time today (even though it got really hot in the hall!!).  We are super excited for next week!!

When I Dream

When I dream, I dream about being at the cemetery by Nan.
When I wish, I wish being around my family and friends.
When I feel angry, I have anger management.
When I cry, I cry about the people who died in my family.
When I imagine, I imagine what the future is going to look like.
When I smile, I smile about everyone I love.
When I speak, I speak the truth to my family.
That makes me the person I am today.
