 I love that you help me with my homework.

I love that you cook my favourite meal which is sausages.

I love that you always read and answer my notices from     school.

I love that you always help me get ready for school.

I love that you play games with me at the park.

I love that you give me big hugs.

I love that you  always buy me Mcdonald's.

I love that you are kind to my friends.

I love that you encourage me to do better at reading and maths.

MOTUHAKE DANCE COMPANY

Today we were lucky enough to have the Motuhake Dance Company come and share their amazing talents with Pipi and Wymondley Road School.  Five members of Pipi even got to join the dance company for the day and performed exceptionally well in the finale of the production.  We are all so very proud of Desiree, Joshua, Filimone, Mercedes and Ella for learning the routine in such a short space of time.

That Was Summer

Remember the time when we went to the beach and put on my hat and went surfing and did bomb? That was Summer.

Remember that time that was weeks ago I ate fish and chips and put on sunscreen. Then we ate ice cream. That was Summer.

Remember the time that we saw people lying down on the sand? I was playing in the water That's what summer

Remember the time we did Mummanos at the beach? We found and picked up seashells in the ocean. That was summer.

Touch Training Today

Today we started our touch training with Coach Malakai from Counties Manukau Sport.  We ran through a number of drills to help us with skills that we will need to play touch.
We practised rolling the ball, passing the ball and catching the ball.  We needed to remember we have to pass backwards because forward passes aren't allowed in touch rugby (or any rugby for that matter).
We really enjoyed our time today (even though it got really hot in the hall!!).  We are super excited for next week!!

When I Race

When I race people, I feel like the first fastest.

When I see my cousin, he is like my brother - he always comes to my house and buys things for me.

When I cry, I cry for my parents.

When I see Vallu, he is nice to me, he cares for me, he is the best brother ever.

That’s what makes me the person I am today.
